Definitely worth a try....,

I am quite cynical about what I see as "manufactured" cookery books around a theme - in this case tomatoes. Of course - they have to be "vine-ripened" - like that is what we get offered in Tesco and Asda or the local greengrocer. And it is Australian so how relevant can it be? Well, this book actually challenged all those preconceptions. Decent production job - pictures but not so many they drown the recipes and the latter aren't bad. Drawn from all over the world - and not solely tomato based - I have cooked several and had five wins and two draws - which isn't bad in my experience.
Definitely worth thinking about if tomatoes and Australian/Mediterranean style cooking interests you.
