This is an incredibly hot, sexy, vivid read. Lily is not your normal stick insect thin, and it enjoyable to read about a "normal" sized woman for a change. Travis is your normal womaniser at the beginning of the story but really starts to shape up and realise love comes in all sizes.

My summary of the book - Lily ends up helping her sister by modelling an outfit in her fashion show where Travis, who is in his brother place, really notices Lily for the first time and soon has her in his bed. He makes her a job offer which takes them to Italy where Lily gives into her desires and experience her new found confidence with Travis but are they meant to be together.
Thoughts on the characters - Lily has known Travis for a lot of years and is used to him not talking or noticing her. So when she sees him desiring her after the fashion show she brushes her insecurities away and takes the plunge of having one night with him. But when he comes back for more and offers her a job she really is confused and can't stop her insecurities affecting her mindset. In Italy she sees that men do desire her but she just can't stop her confusing feelings especially when an event changes her relationship with Travis. She needs to learn to love herself before she let someone else in.
Travis pushed Lily away when he was a boy and ignored her ever since but when he sees her at the fashion show looking amazing and voluptuous he is blown away and instantly desires her. He has her for one night and can't believe how amazing she is and he can't get her out of his mind. When he hears a not so positive reaction from Lily through his brother he decides he needs to show her how good he really is. He offers her job and they end up in Italy on an business trip he has the hard job of showing her what he really feels.
Overall thoughts - Really good passionate book and I love how Lily, who isn't exactly thin, brings a grown man to his knees and she doesn't really realise her effect on Travis. Its also good Travis finally sees how special Lily is and really works at showing her how special she is.

Tons of chemistry, a believable romance (!), and steamy sex. CHECK.
Sick of reading about perfect size zero fashionistas who live in NY and really have nothing more to worry about than which pair of $700 shoes to wear tonight? Me, too. This is not one of those books. I couldn't put it down, and I can't wait for next one.

Travis is not looking forward to having to spend time with Lily. But when he sets his eyes on her transformed self, his temperature is not the only thing rising. I have never read any books by this author before, but when I started it, I couldn't stop until I was finished.
Lily and Travis are very likeable characters, and I was rooting for them from the beginning. They had chemistry, friendship, and history going for them. This story was also very emotionally charged, and gave us all a chance to walk in someone else's shoes for a few hours. We were given an inside look into how thoughtless words and actions can impact a persons life long term. I for one am glad the author did not gloss over the hard stuff because the story wouldn't have been the same great quality if she did.
Spicy, hot, and very well written. I will happily add it to my collection.
