Contains a range of recipes that take 5 key ingredients. We bought this copy for a family member having been gifted our own copy by an American food writer friend.

Every recipe we have tried so far works. The measurements and ingredients are aimed at an American audience, so beware of using cup measurements and Zuccinni.

had that book for few months now and tried about ten recipes... the food wasn't very tasty but what I found the most frustrating is how difficult was it to use the recipes!! The measurements are very weird (butter in tablespoons, flour and sugar in cups). It was such a pain having to go on the internet every few minutes converting the measurements to grammes.
really would not recommend it!!

so that you also buy James Tanner Takes 5: Delicious Dishes Using Just 5 Ingredients by James Tanner Paperback £8.69. Because if you do you will end up with the UK Kylie Cathie and American Kyle Books version of the same book. The book itself is a good book - although perhaps it should be titled "take 5 MAIN ingredients and have a well stocked storecupboard". The recipes are varied and interesting, however and the photography is execptional. It would have got a higher rating if it was the first version of the book I had seen.
