My son has a large collection of the take along Thomas range. These little trains are perfect for taking out and about - they're a lovely size. Ours have lasted quite well considering the heavy play they get from 4 young kids. OK, so they may have a few little chips in them now, but nothing that would take any fun out of them - they just look more authentic!!! And they don't chip nearly as easily as the wooden range.
I would highly recommend these to anyone with Thomas mad kids!

This is a very well-made little die-cast Percy, that has lasted quite happily for nearly a year, suffering only a few nicks to the paint job. The colours are bright and the individual character trains from this series are clearly recognisable (by facial expression and size as well as by paint job, number and design) for young fans.
An excellent product, and well worth 5 stars. The only down-side is the over-sized, difficult-to-open, non-recyclable plastic blister-packaging in which it arrives!

This was a xmas gift to my godson 2010 and he still has it- he is getting the whole collection this xmas- he loves the push along engines and there small enough for take along as well- very impressed with this as he still has it! His 2-
