My son who'll be three in the summer loves Thomas and Friends and to be brutally frank, anything to do with transport so these die cast toys are a winner. I chose the chracter Butch because he's a little different and the expression on his face looks anything but Butch! Joking aside, he loves playing with these toys and although there are loads to collect it's a good present to give him on a monthly basis or so if he's been good.
Highly recommended to parents of little boys who are huge Thomas fans.

My little boy loves the take along thomas friends and we are building quite a collection! They are dye cast and this makes them very durable. We bought Butch, Jack and Alfie for his 2nd birthday, 6 months later, and he still asks for them and talks about them most days! Each comes with a magnet and butch can often be found rescuing the others and dragging them to saftey!

This is a nice toy. It has a magnet that can be used to lift the other trains. It seems pretty sturdy too.

Butch does some non speaking appearances in various videos. Very much a third or fourth tier character. Still, a magnet tow truck has an appeal to toddlers.
