I've bought most of the take along bob the builder range. Given the fact that they are diecast toys I would have expected them to have lasted longer.
I think that they are poorly made. Of the six that I have bought three have broken. Either wheels have come off in Lofty's case. Scoop's roof came off and Roley's wheel has come off. This is only after a short space of time (about 6 weeks) so I would have expected alot more durability.

Ho ho ho! I've just been shopping online to buy a new Lofty for my son as two of its wheels have broken off! Didn't realize this was such a common problem- I assumed he had been a little too rough. After reading all the other reviews it sounds like there is no point in buying another...

my sons have all the toys in this range, and they are mostly very well designed and made. Unfortunately Lofty is very poorly put together. We've had two of these now - the first one broke within a couple of weeks, the second one within half an hour! The hubs that attach the wheels to the axles are very weak, and with even the slightest pressure and the wheels come off. And that's that. A real shame - how are we supposed to complete the set!?

Falls apart
I agree with the previous reviewer. I have now purchased 2 Lofties and in both cases, the wheels have come off (literally) within a few weeks.
