4.0 out of 5 stars Great 3 Dec 2000
By A Customer
I think metal fatigue is great but it would never be if it weren't for the wild imaginations of the developer. It's one of the most greatest games i've ever played. i mean who would ever think of games where huge robots called combots fight each other well i suppose mech commander is one but the graphics and action on it is just not good enough and all it is, is huge peices of metal junk fighting with huge cannons unlike metal fatigue with axe arms armoured legs and camoflage torsos. So buy it and have ours of gaming fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the most orgiginal game ever! 9 Jan 2005
I found this game cheap in a second hand store, and after playing it wondered why I had never heard of it before!
Its bsic idea of combigning different parts of robots sounds famaliar, but it plays like something entirely different to anything you have ever played before, with three different views (underground, surface and air) combigning to make it a very strategic game.
As well as the massive robots of death you also get smaller tanks and stuff, like it C&C games, along with planes, diggers etc. There is also a promotion system like in RA2, so your robot crews can gain experience.
The storyline is great (read the other reviews, someone else commemted on it) and the three different sides are vastly different, with amazing upgrades on each, making you adopt a different stratefy for each.
Buy it!

4.0 out of 5 stars A great game. One of a kind. 19 May 2003
By Sean
This game is an awesome one, there is nothing else out there with a better storyline, or gameplay features. The 3 Angelus brothers each with their own 'Corponation' trying to find Technology/Information about the ancient civilisation the 'Hedoth'. The game will keep you going on end for hours, as you battle against each Corponation, and as each Corponation. The multiplayer is good, different map types ranging from Snowy Mountainous maps to Grassy planes, each with its own game types, from aquiring 'Hedoth' technology to purely Anihalating the enemy. Apart from some of the graphical details of the game and being Ram hungry for larger games(8 players at one time), as it is quite old, the game is fun and a must have.
