WWE 2K15 aims to usher in a new era of WWE video games with an all-new MyCareer Mode, 2K Showcase Mode, improved graphics, and more. Relive the groundbreaking rivalries of John Cena vs. CM Punk and Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in a new single player campaign told through your gameplay and historic WWE footage. Create your own Custom Superstar, or customize WWE Superstars and Divas, Move-Sets and entrances. Take control of WWE as your actions shape your Universe: storylines, schedule, rivalries, alliances and more! Listen to Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole call the action with authentic WWE blow-by-blow commentary.

WWE 2K15 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One doesn't quite meet the expectations set by previous entries in the series. While the wrestlers look amazing and the combat feels significantly better, MyCareer mode is an absolute slog and everything else has been done better in previous years. Between the narrower historical mode, the shuttered creation suites, and the dearth of combat options for bigger groups, WWE 2K15 has lost some of the tools that brought previous entries to the main event.

The only reason to buy 2K15 is to have new trophies to unlock and maybe the new story mode but even that is short and to easy to complete (even on legend difficulty).
There are potentially some excellent improvements to Universe mode but the damn thing crashes so much, you can't really get into them and enjoy them or experience them for very long.
They've completely destroyed custom entrance... If it doesn't crash within seconds of it loading then it proves that miracles can happen but then if it does load, they've still removed most of the options we know and love e.g. custom music from your own PS3 library. So its crap!
The gameplay has been made smoother but also slower so now it's to easy to reverse everything.
In closing, stick with WWE2K14... If nothing else, for the Wrestlemania story mode and the Streak mode.

Can only hope PS4 version is better. Not sure what they've spent a year doing beyond spoiling some of the better aspects of 2K14. This plays less well, is less interesting, glitches more. A shame and a slap in the face to fans who've not yet bought a next-gen console.

Utter disappointment. Pretty much just last years game except with all the good bits taken out and replaced with a terrible roster and laughable story mode. Stick to 14 don't waste your money on this.

After the success of 2k14 I was hoping for something better and I didn't get that with 2k15. The showcase mode wasn't really necessary if anything they could have done an nxt career mode ( as they have on PS4 version) They also took out the create a finisher which made no sense at all. The roster hasn't changed much and the gameplay feels the same. Overall I feel that 2k have took a step back with this game and need to create something better for 2k16.

The game itself isn't that bad. The problem is the almost complete lack of difference from 2k14. Naturally, manufacturers want you to purchase a Next Gen console and as such the Next Gen version of the game, but to actually produce a watered down version of the game from the year before is a disgrace. The only differences are the minor inclusions of NXT related gameplay, the roster update and the long awaited inclusion of the legendary Sting as a genuine playable character after years of being a Create-A-Wrestler favourite for fans. Being able to play as genuine versions of both of Sting's personas is an absolute treat, but unfortunately doesn't do enough to make this game worthy of a positive review.

Additionally, to remove previous features of the game and make it worth less in regards to the whole product than the previous version is scandalous and smacks of a marketing ploy on the part of the WWE and 2K Sports. Very disappointing.

I wouldnt even give it 1 star.avoid at all costs and stick to WWE 2K14,if you want the game just because Sting is in it your better off creating him on wwe 2k14.the roster is the smallest ever and the showcase mode isnt all that because you only have 2 storys, wwe want you to buy the game and then pay more money to download more showcase storys whereas wwe 2k14 had a huge roster and had about 5 or 6 storys.even the what is next storyline is so short. The graphics are exactly the same as wwe 2k14 so no advancement there. This game brand new is only worth about 10 or 15 pounds brand new.

Very stripped down version of 2K14, a lot of features are gone such as Story designer, Create a finisher etc...

aside from these, they also took away the ability to have custom songs, limited the songs you can give your created person & limited the motions to use on create an entrance.

Improvements: They have added better sound effects for mat impact which is pretty good & feels great for pulling off finishers, the gameplay also feels reasonably quicker & fluid which is good.

Showcase Mode: This mode is the replacement for last years "30 Years of Wrestlemania" difference is slim but basically it takes a more detailed approach at two Rivalries, Cm Punk VS John Cena Feud from 2011-2012 & HHH VS Shawn Michaels from 2002-2004,

These two feuds have various matches that recreate the actual matches from their feud.

Its a decent mode but not as good as 30 Years of Wrestlemania.

Also there is the exclusive mode for last gen only called "We Got NXT" which is basically a series of exhibition matches between NXT superstars...nothing special.

Overall if you are looking for a big change from WWE 2K14...get WWE 2K15 on next gen!

This is more of a step down than up...
