This 2 disk set contains 3 recent episodes from the long running Scottish detective series. The first episode Genesis sees the team investigating the murder of a wealthy woman who has been visiting a fertility clinic. Next up is The Caring Game concerns the shady dealings of an estate agent. Finally Lifeline centres around Jackie Reid and a link to a man found dead in his car.
The episodes are up to the usual high standards we have come to expect from Taggart. The prints are excellent quality with a nice sharp picture and good sound. The special features are rather limited and just include cast filmatographies and a picture gallery. If you enjoy a good tv murder series then this dvd is for you.

I cannot speak highly enough of this Taggart DVD title. Beautifully filmed, tightly written script, superb acting and gritty storylines. If only all TV police shows were this good.

This collection consists of three episodes and runs for just over 200 mins.
For the same (or less) cost, there are a number of 6 disk Taggart sets some of which are only a couple of years older than this set and have the same main characters.
Taggart may have kept up the quality over the years but it makes no sense to buy three episodes rather than six.
