The Taggart 100th episode collection is definitely worth watching for all Taggart fans. The 100th episode is entitled 'Fact and Fiction', which does not actually feature a live murder, but is an investigation of a previous murder from the past which the team attempt to solve. 4 other episodes in the DVD set also. excellent viewing!!

Yes this is good value. The scripts are well thought through with interwoven stories. The acting and micro acting with close up face expression is superb. Well done.

There are another 5 good episodes of mysteries for the team to solve here. Some are more challenging than others, but the acting and atmosphere are so good, alongside quite plausible if not always gripping detective yarns, that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these stories to any armchair detective. The fact that we have even reached 100 episodes says much for the quality of these presentations.

This special episode to mark the 100th episode of the long running detective drama, without revealing too much, doesnt follow the standard formula that each episode normally uses. Nonetheless, its a really interesting watch and a really clever way to mark the anniversary episode. Roll on the 200th episode!

100 episodes in and the longest running drama series on British TV shows no sign of slowing down. I missed some of these episodes when they were broadcast on ITV as the channel does tend to just drop them in here and there rather than giving fans the chance to settle into a series, however it was great tyo be able to catch up with these five investigations on DVD.
