This is definitely the play mat of choice between myself and the other Mums I know. It's big enough that your baby can move around happily, but not so big it takes over your whole living room. There are little things to press and chew on, and overall it just feels safer than letting my baby climb all over the floor. I've washed it a couple of times now and it's held it's colour. I had this recommended to me, and will definitely be recommending it. My baby is so comfy on it sometimes I find her asleep in the middle. I do have a sheepskin underneath the rug just for a bit of extra cushioning because we have wood floors, but on a carpetted floor you probably wouldn't need the extra protection.

Wonderful product! The size of this mat is just right (lots of rolling space!). It is brightly coloured and features a mirror, squeaker etc for babies to explore when on their tummy. I use it on a carpeted surface and my baby is well cushioned. It can be folded up but would benefit from a velcro strap to keep it together once folded.

We bought this play mat as a Christmas gift for our 8 month old baby boy. He adores it and gets great enjoyment rolling around and investigating the many features built into the play mat. A beautiful textured play mat which looks even better when you see it opened up in a room.
The lovely colours and features such as the mirror and sqeeker sun will stimulate any baby. The mat texture is extremely confortable due to the super soft padding and layers.
We have seen nothing like this play mat on the high street. The play mat can be easily carried around if you are travelling as the plastic case which it came in has straps. Easily folded into three and then in half for packing away. Top marks to Amazon yet again for another smooth delivery in time for Christmas 2010.
