5.0 out of 5 stars The best degree grade ITF patterns book about! 10 Dec 2011
By Andy
Having used Master Hogan's 'From beginner to black belt' patterns to study and refer from on a regular basis, I've been waiting for his 'Taekwon-Do Patterns: From 1st to 7th Degree Black Belt' book for a while. Now I have it, I've found it the perfect reference book for all degree ITF patterns. The book is well written, well laid out, easy to reference and a good size to carry in your kit bag.

Each pattern has nice clear colour photographs and precise explanations of each movement, and as a bonus teaching tips where needed. No instructor or degree grade Taekwon-Do practitioner should be without this valuable book. I have one for the bookshelf at home, and a 'working' copy in my bag for reference whenever I need it - perfect!

A great companion to Master Hogan's 'Taekwon-Do Patterns: From Begineer to Black Belt' book.

This is certainly not a book that will remain unused, if you are looking for a single point of reference for degree grade ITF patterns this is the book you've been waiting for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sorted my patterns right out 25 Mar 2012
By Willy
I've been back to training for a year after a 10 year break and had forgotten almost everything. This book has been perfect for re-learning my patterns. The layout is really easy to follow and indepth with some great training tips Also having the korean for every move is great. What's been even more beneficial is the application photos demonstrating the moves against an opponent, studying this has made me feel I'm performing my patterns with so much more realism and visualisation. Also it has helped me get really creative with my one step too. I throurougly recommend this book.

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Great book for reference. Sons using it regularly to support learning in the Do Jang. As with Mr Hogans coloured belt pattern book it breaks it down each pattern in detail with supporting photos / diagrams. Good one for your TKD library.
