After looking at many products on-line, and reading a review in cycling plus, the Tacx i-flow appeared to be absolutely what I was looking for. Stationary biking bores me, so a virtual reality/ride routes is right up my street. It arrived 3 days after order (£600.00); putting the bike on the frame was straightforward, the build quality seemed good. However there was a loose connection in the interface that at first I thought was a faulty cable. It took about a fortnight to receive a new cable (admittedly it was Christmas so post would be slow)but that wasn't the problem; after trying both cables it was clear that the problem was the interface. After many e-mails (from me) I sent the faulty interface back (on the 2nd Jan), I have still to receive a replacement (it is now 27th Jan) e-mails are very rarely returned, the last one I received seemed to imply that I would be sent the Genius version of the interface which appears to be the bottom of the range, not what I have paid for, and probably not compatable with what I have. If this is finally sorted, it will probably be summer, when I can ride my bike outside. For the money I have paid, it may be more cost effective to fly over and get the item myself.
I've given it one star in the review only because you can't select none.
