Product Description
This work takes the view that not only the crime, but its causes, must be tackled. The author defines the term "militant racism", and investigates the link between an increase in racist crime and the distribution of racist literature. He goes on to examine the subject in detail.
From the Author
In this book I seek to tackle not just racist crime, but the causes of racist crime. Indeed, while proposing changes to UK laws that tackle extreme and militant racism, I challenge the myth that racist expression is protected by the human rights convention and argue for the development of counter-message legislation to deter and discourage racially offensive expression.
