great product for £30, struggles with some glossy barcodes, but overall
i'm very impressed with the product.
the product works straight away, and shows up as a HID Keyboard,
and doesn't seem to drop any numbers from the barcode.
product arrived very quick (2-3 days) with standard delivery!

if your looking for a simple cheap scanner that will work with most barcodes, then this is for you.

I purchased this scanner as an addition to our stores.
It is a great value product, with all the features required for simple barcode scanning into just about any app I could think of. We use it on Sage 200 for quickly entering Works Orders, Stock Codes and Batch/Serial Codes.
Includes a booklet to configure the scanner; preamble/postamble, final character, scan language etc.
Looks tidy, and is drop proof too!
I will be purchasing more over the next few months.

This does exactly what it says on the box - the factory default settings enable immediate plug-and-play and, if you need to set it up differently the programming booklet makes it really straightforward to use.

I bought this for my MAC and I am using it with the software booxster which allows you to scan barcodes of Books, Music CD's and Film DVD's it then fetches the information from the internet and builds a nice database useful for any insurance claims. Anyway connected the scanner to the MAC which identified it as a keyboard, I then scanned the barcode for keyboard from the manual that came with it and then the mac wanted to know which type so I selected european. After that the scanner works perfectly 100% all the time - yes even on shiny books. The seller is excellent sending it by next day tracked package. Apart from booxster I tried it with microsoft word and excel and any barcode scanned then gets correctly put in word/excel. Amazing value.

Plug the scanner into a USB port, it thinks its a keyboard. No drivers or software required. Press the button and scan a barcode. The scanner types the number in and presses enter. Just works. Less reliable on barcodes on old scratched up CD cases etc., but I guess at this price you can't complain.

Comes with a book of barcodes that you can scan to re-program the scanner should you need to.

Excellent at the price.
