I was a little apprehensive about buying this product because of a review from a previous buyer; however i am pleased to say my fears were completely unfounded. I have used the pen on two tyres and it worked very well.
Each letter on the tyre only requires one coat from the pen as the liquid easily covers and fills any grooves/texture that the letters on the tyre wall have- however to get a bright white finish i went over each letter twice.
It didn't come with any instructions but in my opinion, any printed instructions would be a waste of paper as its an extremely easy product to use.

Very good tire paint marker. Easy to use, no mess and a solid white colour. You can't go wrong with this.
So after a few of the other reviews on here I thought I'd give this pen a shot, after all, it's inexpensive.
What I found was:
The paint is difficult to apply, I had washed and dried the tyre (first by towel and then by leaving it in t he sun for a few hours) before application. I found that the flow of the paint was difficult to apply uniformly, with the paint often stopping and starting. about 2-3 applications are needed (has to dry between applications) to get a uniform white look that doesn't have smears or obvious black spots.
The tip of the pen is quite fat which makes it difficult to get sharp edges.
Paint lasted about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks before going fading and going yellow.
Product would be usueful prior to going to a car show, but needs constant application or starts to look unappealing.
I think I will try a paper correction pen next, as I don't think it'd last any less and the smaller nib may make for better corners.

dont waste your money
Great product if your aim is to end up with white paint all over your fingers, may be ok on brand new tyres but forget it on tyres that have been used a while. Read more
