Love this product as it matches my other storage pieces I have from this collection. Sturdy and doesn't tip over no matter how full. Great price too.

Typhoon know their stuff and make gorgeous kitchenware, although some are better than others. These are heavy and tough and I reckon they will last for years. I have not had any problems with any of my Typhoon storage items and my friends always comment on them. The choice of colours are superb and the enamel is tough enough not to chip when you knock them. I know they are relatively expensive but I feel they are worth every penny.

I owned this product for just short of one year, during which time it rusted quite badly on the outside, especially on the bottom, and ended up looking completely shoddy, in addition to my concern that the rusty rough surface would damage and stain my kitchen worktop, so I had to throw it out.
I bought the all of the typhoon metal storage in this range (cake tin, bread bin, utensil storage, tea, sugar, coffee canisters etc) and without exception ALL of them suffered from this rusting problem.
I am glad that I waited until now to review, as if I had reviewed these products in the first week following purchase my reviews would have been largely positive. It is only through prolonged usage that the rusting materialised and the products in general dont seem constructed with the humid/steamy kitchen environment in mind.
In summary: poor quality materials and a complete waste of my time and money. I will never again buy any kind of metal kitchen storage from typhoon.
