5.0 out of 5 stars Read this book! 11 July 2011

I'm 28 and it may seem odd that I read these books since they are geared towards a much younger audience. But I love AT THE TWILIGHT'S LAST GLEAMING! The first few pages started out slow and interesting, then I was sucked in. I read the entire book in a day, anytime I had to put my Kindle down I rushed to get back to as soon as possible! I'm looking forward to his next book. If you are a huge vampire and werewolf fan , then you will surely enjoy this one!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Storyline 23 Jan. 2012

This author has an amazing way with words. He draws you in with his descriptiveness, but it isn't so overly done that it takes you away from the main point of the story. I have to agree with the reviewer who made mention of the editing issues. There were times that the story was a bit confusing because the wrong person's name was used dialogues, but overall it was still a good read. Nice original take on vampires.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun YA Paranormal Romance 1 Aug. 2011

I really enjoyed At the Twilight's Last Gleaming. The characters are likeable, the story flows smoothly, and the politico-supernatural plot is the funniest explanation of Washington politics I've ever read. I don't usually care for vampire stories, but this one's a keeper.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Creative Vampire Story 11 July 2011
By Abbey - Published on

I am wary of vampire books since there's been such a rush of them of the market, but who am I to pass up a book with such great potential?
Wow! This book kept me glued to the pages, I mean buttons lol through the whole story. I didn't feel like it dragged once. I was actually really surprised at how much I really enjoyed it, and yes it did keep me up all night turning pages, I mean scrolling pages. The plot was the really interesting yet intriguing vampire story, although it was complete with vampire and werewolf characters. This book is a must read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent YA Paranormal Romance 10 July 2011

David Bischoff is a writer with a strong track record and At the Twilight's Last Gleaming is an excellent YA paranormal romance with some surprising twists. The narrator is a smart, quirky young girl a lot of readers will have no trouble identifying with and Bischoff shows considerable originality in his use of vampire themes. Recommended both to teenage and adult readers.
