The Good
-It has very good picture quality
-Upscales Digital broadcasts to 1080i
-You can record on your Tvix box
-Easy to use

Credit to the UK supplier in titling this as a "Freeview" tuner. However, as the TVIX range of products is geared towards the HD enthusiast then it's only a shame that its full potential, that of managing HD, cannot yet be fulfilled in the UK, as currently there are no HD transmissions via Freeview.
On enquiry with the manufacturer I also discovered that neither could it be used with FreeSat. Although my aerial provides a suitable signal for my TV inbuilt Freeview tuner, it does not work with the T530, probably because of its poor siting, so I've not managed to check out the T530's capabilities.
As Freeview HD is only going to be rolled out in the UK during 2009, it's a mute point as to whether the T530 should even me marketed in the UK at present.
