The well designed adapter includes an integrated Micro USB port on the side of the adapter to plug in a charger or cable so you're phone remains powered up for hours of content playback. (The cable must be plugged into a mains adapter to work, but a USB port on a computer will not work).

The cable is well made and feels sturdy. The HDMI cable connects with a good click in place, as does the charging cable (which connects at 90° to the HDMI). however, the connection between the phone and this cable isn't as secure, and when you have a long heavy HDMI cable attached to it, it does have a tendency to disconnect. This means if you are holding the phone, you'll also need to hold the cable in place. This is no problem if your watching a film, as you can just place the phone on a table, however playing games can be a bit awkward, unfortunately. Its probably also worth noting that it seems that you can't get 5.1 surround sound output using this cable, or at least I couldn't. Maybe that would be expecting to much, or maybe you can and I haven't worked out how, but it seems you can't. Everything else is just great, picture quality, response time, resolution (which is very nearly full HD). Overall it does what it says and I would certainly recommend it!

Works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S2. Need to buy a HDMI cable as well to connect from the adaptor but that only cost just over £1 on Amazon.co,uk. The phone battery charger has to be plugged into the adaptor for the adaptor to work. Very happy with it indeed, especially as the adapter is not just for movie playback but all gallery photos can be viewed, along with everything else on the phone such as games.

Small neat and does what it says with no problems in auio or video. Galaxy & TV connect as soon as plug is inserted and you are ready to stream media direct to your TV.
