I read all the reviews before buying TV Ears and tried to ignore those of a negative nature. When I received it I found it extremely easy to set up - the cords simply plugged into the audio sockets at the rear of my television. The sound quality is quite good enough and is loud and clear. The tone button does work. Even though I am fairly tone deaf I could detect the high and the low. This system does all that is required of it (i.e. it enables one to listen to the TV at an acceptable individual level without upsetting others).

I found the wearing of this product after 1/2 hours uncomfortable.

These were a gift. The receiver and his wife haven't stopped raving about them. He can hear TV without having to turn sound up so it deafens his wife. An added bonus is that his partner is a bookworm so she can read in silence whilst he is listening to TV. He also said they were easy to connect up.

be careful
This product looked good, the big problem is it does NOT work with a DIGITAL TV. The instruction inside explain that it only works with ANALOGUE systems. Read more

item works fine,but tone control does not seem to do a lot, and the foam ear pads are uncomfortable after 30 to 40 minutes ,other wise not bad for the price.
