Format:Audio CD
James Yuill's debut album consists of twelve tracks of electro-pop wonder. Although lacking in places - perhaps due to low budgeting - and repetative at times, this album holds some gems. Most notable are singles "No Surprise" and "No Pins Allowed", which are reminiscent of Hot Chip in the days of "Coming on Strong". Worth a listen.

I can't believe more people haven't reviewed this album. It contains such perfect tunes that you almost can't believe no one's written them before. Stand-out track is 'No surprise' for me. How can I convince you to buy it? I love Postal Service, and this really reminds me of the beautifully crafted songs on there.

I bought the album first time round when James self released it a year or so ago, but the new songs he's added are amazing (Over The Hills & No Pins Allowed), the new artwork is fantastic... the man has so much talent it's untrue.
Personal highlights are Head Over Heels and She Said In Jest, but the whole album is superbly produced, superbly written and deserves to turn James into a household name.
But if you think the CD is good, you should see him live...
Probably the most interesting musician working in Britain at the moment.
