Living on the Isle of Man i have grew up with the tt, and every year the place comes alive for two weeks when bikers from all over the world come to watch the greatest road races in the world.
This film sums up the tt perfectly and is very well made.
Guy martin is the main feature of it and is a bit of a character to say the least! The guys who made this film coudn't have picked a better year to film it as so much happens that no one could have predicted.
Even if you are not a fan of bikes or even motorsport, i would still say watch this film, you will not be dissapointed!

A very good documentary film about the IOMTT, including Guy Martin, John Mac, Connor Cummins, Cam Donald, Mike Dunlop.
This film gives anyone who has never attended the TT races an insight into why people want to race at the most famous road circuit in the world.
Anyone who rides motorbikes or watches motorcycle racing can understand why, and where the guys are coming from with their attitude to racing there.
The film gives non bikers an insight into what it takes to race at the IOM, without actually having to go there.
The only way to really appreciate the TT races is to go there and watch it from the roadside, it would also give you a chance to get involved in the fantastic party atmosphere that goes on there during TT fortnight.
If this film inspires anyone to want go to the TT, my advice is go! you will love every minute!!! I did!!

This is a must see, must own movie. I own several movies and documentaries on the TT races and my wife was a tad reluctant when we attended the opening night at the cinema, as she expected an update of the same old, same old. It says everything when I tell you, at her insistance, we returned to cinema next day, son (16yrs) in tow.... and he in turn went with friends the following day to see again !

Closer to buying a bike!
Watching the film is simply inspirational, awe-inspiring and pant wettingly scary all at the same time. If you're a petrolhead, 2 or 4 wheels, you need to watch this film.

they're quick up north, if only Guy spoke slower I'd get it
Having recently seen this at the local cinema, I got this principally to be able to understand Guy Martin via sub-titles, as he actually talks faster than he rides. Read more
