You should already know the majority of the information in the book from doing ROUTE and SWITCH. Providing you can troubleshoot the techs you already know (and implemented) using the show commands and can approach problems in a consistent and logical manor then the TSHOOT exam should not present a problem.
The book has some useful detail and some new information on techs such as netflow and nbar that aren't really covered elsewhere but are they likely to appear in the exam, no.
In summary do you need this book to pass this exam? No. Will it help in your alround education on the subject matter? Yes. For this reason I can't give it more than 3 stars as for me it's mainly reference and filler.
