This new handheld AM/FM/WFM radio scanner from TTI gives exceptional performance on VHF, is refreshingly easy to operate, and has a large backlit display in orange colour, 200 memory channels, and covers the very popular 66-88Mhz/108-136Mhz/136-174Mhz ranges, and even has a WFM broadcast band receive feature from 88-108Mhz.
The TSC-100R is also supplied with a handy SMA to BNC adaptor to allow for alternative antenna connection than the supplied SMA type rubber duck antenna, although we have found the standard rubber antenna works really well on this very sensitive receiver.

The radio arrived after 3 days which was good. However the radio itself is very disappointing. Although I live near an airport the reception is poor. Living also near a big city the other channels are also poor with weak signals that are difficult to hear. I find the controls fiddly and the battery life is appalling.2 stars at best.
