I bought four of these to use on my desktop, an old laptop and my netbook. All of which needed a few more ports for various devices and these hubs have never let me down when I've needed them. The only problem I have had was the short cable which meant I needed a USB extension cable to make the hub accessible on my desk.

Great value, speedy delivery but cable too short to be a really useful product.I still have to get on my hands and knees to plug in items to the USB.

I bought this to support two external drives (to work to my Mac Mini running Snow Leopard), both Western Digital. The 1TB drive was an externally powered 3.5" unit and worked fine, however the 500GB 2.5" drive required USB power, and this is where this hub fell down - the latter drive wouldn't work through this hub.
I spoke to Amazon to tell them about it and they sent me return labels, however before I returned it I wanted to make sure I could get a suitable hub. I bought a Hama version that looked similar to this one, and it worked perfectly.
I then returned the Trixes hub and they refunded promptly and in full. Well done Amazon, well done Hama, but shame about the Trixes hub.

this is not working. out of 4 ports only one is working which is the same number of ports that i had before purchasing an item. complete waste of money

Useless

Don't buy for hard drives
Product is cheap and arrived quickly.
Came in sealed bag as if new but was scratched and didn't look new.

USB, do you have enough ports
Item arrived well before earliest delivery date. It works and looks solid enough. I now no longer have to unplug USB devices and plug them in when I need them.
