The cost of power injectors is ridiculous but this stood out due to price. The box is small and has an in-line power switch rather like those found on bedside lamps.

I was impressed that this supports the 802.3at (25.5 watts support) certification which makes is reasonably future-proof for me as I only needed the lesser 802.3af (15.4 watts support) certification for my newly-acquired ZyXEL NWA1123-NI access point.

I now have a ceiling mounted wireless access point covering the whole house powered from a downstairs room through the network cable - much easier than installing a power outlet in the loftspace or stringing a power cable from the nearest wall socket.

Connected to a ZyXel AP working great. Gigabit is working as stated and stable. Working fine over 35m. Has an in line switch which is great in the server room. The switch can be removed.

As stated by other reviews, mine came with a EU style power adapter with no UK convertor. The power supply and plug are moulded together (not a figure of 8 power lead or anything) so you have to use an adapter. Otherwise works as advertised. Provides power to a Polycom based IP phone over PoE and substantiality cheaper than buying the manufacturers dedicated power brick.
