I have been listenin to trapt for ages and they are a very good very talented band. at first listen this is just another nu metal band. however keep listening and u will discover many layers and many influences. this is for fans of linkin park, puddle of mudd, finch, taproot and even portishead. canada has itself, along with simple plan one of the finest new bands around. Key tracks - made of glass, head strong, these walls and when all is said and done.Well done trapt.

In short, Trapt are absolutely brilliant, definately one of the best bands I have heard. I advise to if you are reading this, to BUY THIS ALBUM.
I will give you a quick run-through of all the songs.
1. HEADSTRONG - This will be the one song, if any, that you will have heard by this band before you got here. This isn't the best song by far, but it is quite good, yet a bit shouty. 8/10
2. MADE OF GLASS - Great song, good chrous. One of my favourites on the album. 9/10
3. HOLLOWMAN - I don't really like this one and find myself skipping this one in haste to listen to the next song. 5/10
4. THESE WALLS - The best song on the album! Brilliant chorus, just a great song! A real "head-sticker"! 10/10
5. STILL FRAME - Very powerful chorus, a song that I definately like. 8/10
6. ECHO - Quite a good song, it doesn't quite have the power of some of the others. Still nice. 7/10
7. THE GAME - Nice song, quite slow. 7/10
8. WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE - One of the better songs, great, its just cool. 8/10
9. ENIGMA - A bit screechy, can't say I particularly like this. 4/10
10. STORIES - Probably the worst song on the album, completely acoustic and unmoving. 2/10
11. NEW BEGGINING - Not a bad finale, rounding off a great album. 6/10
This album is great, take my advice, if you like rock, BUY IT! The band aren't very heavy and are great.

I heard Trapt when they were on tour and thought they were great. I thought that some of the riffs and lyrics they produced were some of the best I had ever heard. This album is a must for fans of Nu Metal bands such as 'Linkin Park' or 'Trust Company'. Even though they don't sound 100% NU Metal they sure have the riffs for it. I do believe that this album will go far, apart from the long wait until september for the people that don't want to import the CD. To anyone who asks, this is an album to buy, with tracks like Hollowman and Still Frame it will be a great debut to Warner Bros. NU Metal is esablished and is here to stay!

Fantastic
This album really is sheer class, ive imported it and its totally worth the wait, u have 2 listen to 'made of glass', its brill. A MUST BUY.

No points for originality...
Still, with songs like Headstrong, who cares about originality? Also, unlike a lot of bands, they don't resort to constant swearing in their tracks. Read more
