I was on the market for a new wireless router since my old one decided it would constantly d/c me from the internet, and since my virgin superhub is extremely poor at doing its job, I needed a router capable of handling the speeds and traffic.
I came across the TP-Link WR841-N router which I was about to buy until I saw this; Despite the misleading picture, the WR300KIT actually comes with the WR841 router AND a usb adapter. At the time, it was cheaper for me to buy this, than the router alone, so I did.
It arrived in good time, well packaged and set up was a breeze. Although I would note, the instructions recommend you use the software CD to set up; however, it asked me for the IP and all sorts of settings such as subnet mask, ISP configuration etc... I was clueless as to how to even find this information out, so I used the internet interface to set up. There was an option to "auto-detect setting" (something I would have expected to be on the disc but hey-ho) which set everything up at the click of a button. I WOULD RECOMMEND DOING THIS METHOD OF SET-UP.
Two weeks of running; not so much as a dip in connection strength. Absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
