I currently have a G router and live on a single floor apartment. I use WPA2, and Ubuntu Linux 11.04. This wireless adapter for the Handful of dollars that I purchased it for (CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP) works like a charm. I could not be happier. I hear some people have problems with longevity of the thing, but I'm sure i'll be upgrading to a new box or some new fancy router technology soon. So for the pittance I paid for it, and the ease of install (Like as in I plugged it in and now i'm writing this review, which should be the case if you have vista or win 7 as well) Do yourself or your grandma or uncle bob who is computer illiterate, a favor and get it.
