The product arrived quickly. Installing it into my Fedora Linux PC was easy enough, and it seemed to work well. However, I noticed that it was dropping packets. Not many, around 1%, but needless to say after a large download that amounts to quite a lot of retransmits. My PC is about 12 feet away in line of sight of the router, so it should certainly have coped with that distance.
(Replaced this with a thinkpenguin adapter, and that has not dropped any packets at all.)
