as far as I know the Galaxy 2.7 I is wifi only. the TP-Link dongle is for mobile broadband (3G) - you would usually use it for a laptop and it comes with Windows software for setting up a 3G mobile broadband connection. So, it is no use for your tablet. You can get some tablets with 3G, like my 3G Nexus 7, in which you can insert a Data SD card like in a mobile phone, but I am afraid your Galaxy does not have this capability. just had another look and there is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100 that has 3G - takes a mini sim - http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_tab_2_7_0_p3100-4543.php - tp-link dongle no good though

I have had mixed experience, but by logging in to the dongle as you would a router, you may need to change the APN to the correct network. If the network is the same, it should be a straight swap.
