Switch off PC, install PCI card, connect cable, switch back on and on Windows 7 it installs itself with no user input.

Copying files between PCs is now as fast as local disc access, so files can be anywhere but behave like they are local.

Does exactly what it says on the box.

Despite the other reviews my card was recognised by the PCI bus, but the driver software refused to install correctly when selecting 'Search the best driver' from the supplied disk for WinXP folder. Going to the TP-Link website there was a Support item on how to install the driver manually. Using this instruction the driver installed perfectly. So, the install paperwork for this card is very poor.
Update 1: I've now purchased six of these cards which installed and worked perfectly using a manual install, but one has just died after being in use for about 3 weeks: I'm hoping the rest keep working.
Update 2: I've now been using these cards for several months with two different 1 Gb network switches and they all suffer quite frequent network disconnects. Searching the web reveals that the RealTek RTL8169 chip is under suspicion for being associated with network disconnects so I won't be buying any more of these cards just in case they are the problem.

Fitted it - worked straight away first time - gives over 300 Mbps in the limited tests I've done to a NAS server - great value product.
