If, like I was, you are wishing you could move your PC to the loft/doorway/mid-air/behind the TV to get a WiFi signal, look no further! This antenna cable is as good as moving the whole kit, only you don't have to! Keep your PC where it is and let the wire do the work.

It has standard plugs so it fits on practically every wireless card with a detachable aerial. I used mine on a Netgear wireless-N something-or-other (dual antennas but I only moved one) and it works a treat. Good buy! Much better than bolting my PC to the underside of the stairwell.

This was just what I needed. I had a dead spot in my bedroom/study even though the router (d-link) was in the room next door(!). It was a simple fix, I just removed one of the antennas on the router and screwed the new cable antenna in - i believe its a standard fitting for most router antennas. As its 5m (over 15 long) I drilled a small hole in the wall and fed it through to my room with plenty of slack left over. The new antenna now sits proudly on one of my speakers beaming a 100% wifi signal to my laptop, ps3 and phone. This is a quick cheap fix and and much less bothersome or costly than a repeater or access points.

I bought this product along with a TP-Link TL-ANT2414A 2.4GHz 14dbi Outdoor Directional Panel Antenna (which only has a very short cable) These products combined solved the problem I was having with my digital wireless CCTV camera completely. I needed the camera in an out building (stable) to connect to the monitor in the house which was some 15 metres away, but because the signal had to pass through 2 walls it was having none of it and would only connect sporadically. However after attaching the extension cable to the back of the camera in the stable, passing it through the wall and then connecting it to the antenna now positioned on the outside wall at the nearest point to the house, the connection is faultless with 4/5 reception at all times even in bad weather. If it wasn't for this I would have missed recording the birth of my foal, so to me very much worth the cost!

A newly purchased, WiFi enabled, PC with the aerial at the rear was getting no signal whatsoever as it was placed on a shelf close to the floor. With all the other equipment I have it was not possible to re-position the base unit any higher to improve the signal. I have taped the aerial to the top of the adjacent door jamb and now there is no problem at all with a consistent, strong signal.

I expected that this product would be too long to offer a decent coverage of signal but I was wrong. I have this product snaking up my wall, across the loft and with an antennae on the end. The signal has to travel through the wall of the house, and through the wall of the garage which is 2.5m away from the house and it does. Perfect for what I needed it for and for anyone looking to simply send a signal through the interior of a house, it'll work fine for you.

WiFi has been run though to our kitchen which has always been a bit of a WiFi black-hole. Just take off one of the antennas from the router, plug the cable in its place and attach the router's antenna to the other end - Bingo - decent WiFi in the kitchen.

OK, then there is the job of doing it properly by drilling holes through walls and tidying this cable away in duct.

If you are going to do this make sure you get a long enough cable as by the time you've tidied the cable it will probably be quite a zigzag route. 5 metres is a good length unless you are just going through one wall - in that case the 3 metre cable could be enough

I have moved the aerials on my router with 3 of these cables. This has improved the access to signal strength in the rest of the house as the router is not sited optimally. The aerials are now spread out a metre apart giving that greater coverage.

Gold contacts will ensure trouble free service, hopefully.

A very simple solution to improve your wifi signal if you have a router with removable aerials and it isn't placed optimally to deliver signal to the rest of the house.

The product itself is good and does what its supposed to. However, I purchased this along with the TP-Link TL-ANT2415D 2.4GHz 15dbi Outdoor Omni-Directional Antenna and thought that was all I needed but when they came I realised I needed an adapter to connect the aerial to the cable. It does not tell you anywhere in the description that you may need this or even what type of connections they are. This needs to be included in the technical details.
