My 4 year old boy is having fun with this toy but it wasn't his favourite birthday present. It is fun but the things you can make with it aren't really very inspiring for example the bridge thing with funny eyes. Anyway, he can combine it with the other bricks and existing K'nex we have so will be able to let his imagination run wild. One dissapointment was that the bricks click together very loosely in certain directions and fall off (unlike the brnd leader's bricks).
Love K'nex but I'm not sure their building bricks are up to scratch considering the price.

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDSON AS PART OF HIS BIRTHDAY. HE IS 4 YEARS OLD AND THE PIECES ARE CHUNKY ENOUGH FOR HIM TO HANDLE. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES MAKING ALL THE THINGS ON THE ENCLOSED CHART AND ALSO GREAT FOR IMAGINATION IN MAKING THINGS THAT HE COMES UP WITH HIMSELF. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS AS KEEPS HIM OCCUPIED FOR AGES.

I bought this for my son at xmas, he loves it and we have had a lot of family fun making things. Excellent value for money and very durable, an added bonus was that I received it well in time for xmas which great as I ordered it last minute on the website, thanks Amazon for being so reliable.
