You will need 2 size 17 spanners to complete assembly. Instructions were perfectly written out so non-DIY people like me will find it easy enough to assemble. It is solid and can withstand a good weight, it takes up minimal space and I think is excellent value for money. Pat on the back to manufacturers!

This bench is really good for the price - and is exactly what i need. Pity it doesn't do incline, but being a flat bench you can still still on it, do dips off it, and obviously do some pressing.

My main reason for purchasing this one was the price + the fact that it folds right up and is out the way.

I did buy a replacement bench that cost more and had a few add ons (preacher pad etc) but this turned out to be a disaster, so I'm back to using 'old betsy' here and i'm sorry I ever doubted her.

Quick to set up from folding position and back again - is sturdy enough for my needs. the barbell forks are ok with regard to the width, where i've seen other benches have the forks in the wrong place where your hands would go. so for me this bench is great!

Overall, I think you get what you pay for. This is a cheap bench and does its job, but there room for improvement and you have to be careful with this bench. The main issue with the bench for me is that the actual bench bit where you lay down doesn't seem very secure. When bench pressing, the bench wobbles from side to side which is a bit worrying, especially when using heavy weights. The only thing I really like about the design is the fact that the bench folds up - useful if you don't have a massive amount of space to store the bench in.

The issue I had with this product is most likely just specific to me as a one off problem; here's what happened:

I ordered the bench and it arrived a few days earlier than it said which was great, however, when I unpacked it and began assembling I soon noticed that the some of bolts were the wrong size or just missing entirely. I contacted the seller via email and they got back to me very quickly, telling me they'd sent a new pack of nuts & bolts for free, which was really decent of them, however, I also had more problems with the sizes of the new bolts, as some didn't fit or were too long, meaning the bench would have been wobbly. I rectified the problem by inserting all the washers I could find onto some of the bolts from both the old and new bolt packs in order to prevent wobbliness.

It's a good bench and well priced, but be aware that you may encounter my problem and might even need to buy your own parts in order to get it together. If the sellers are reading this, I strongly recommend revising the nuts and bolts used in this product.

It might have been just my order but the bench was not new it was second hand, it had rust at most of the joints and cracks in the support bars which could have been dangerous, half of the bolts were missing and the instructions were impossible to read as they sent me half printed instructions.

Very good product. Assembly instructions provided were reasonably easy to follow and despite an absolute lack of DIY skills, I was able to put the bench together in less than 30 minutes. I noticed someone made a comment previously about being too tall for the bench but I think that's rubbish. I am 6ft 4in tall and I have been able to use the bench just fine. Its reasonably sturdy and a lot less wiggly than some homeuse benches I've come across in the past. The only downside in my view is the cheap feel of the synthetic covering material. But given the price of the bench, this is only a minor niggle. I would definitely recommend this product.

It is one of the better options if you just want a flat bench. Very sturdy and the weight catchers are a good size. Shame they can't make an incline/decline bench with such sturdiness.
