5.0 out of 5 stars Very good 30 Aug 2010

Style Name:150Mbps Wireless N
At first I wasn't sure about the integrity of this wireless card because it was so cheap. I was searching for a wireless card with Windows 7, 64 bit support
and found this, so far I am very impressed. This Atheros AR9285 chipset is very fast receiving the data over my 54mbps wireless network and compatible with Linux too and it only took 3 days to arrive on the super saver;-))
I am very pleased with this item and would recommend you get it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Linux support 12 Dec 2010
Style Name:150Mbps Wireless N
I bought this card specifically to be used with Linux since it's the only operating system I use.
I works flawlessly out of the box with Ubuntu 10.10, no configuration needed whatsoever.
After boot clicking the network manager icon will present you the list of available networks.
It can reach N speeds too depending on the signal strength.
The antenna provided can be unscrewed in order to connect a more powerful antenna, which I did, using a TL-ANT2405C.
Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Windows 7 10 Oct 2010
Style Name:150Mbps Wireless N
I bought this product to run on my windows 7 64bit. It comes with all the instructions on how to install it on XP or vista but not windows 7. How ever the driver is readily avaible to download from the TP link website if required. I didnt even require the driver just worked plug and play for me. I advice u to look inside ur PC before buying to see if you have enough room. It was a tight squeeze for me as my graphics card was kinda in the way. Over all im very happy with him product and it picks up the signal from my wireless router very well 2 floor up in my house. One extra point if you have Kaspersky internet security you MUST disable it when installing or you will not be able to use the adaptor; alot of info and guides are avaiable on the TP link website on the topic.

3.0 out of 5 stars Drivers a let down 9 April 2011
Style Name:150Mbps Wireless N|Amazon Verified Purchase
I ordered this card to replace my previous 54mbps card and the improvement has been notable, especially when streaming media around the house. The only problem I received was the drivers out of the box did not work at all well. Initially the card would drop signal, not see any networks etc. I contacted the support team and they directed me to some third party unsigned drivers that resolved this issue. While I was happy to have this problem resolved, if they are aware of the driver problems, why not release a set of official drivers that work?!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant 10 Aug 2012
By John R
Style Name:N900 Wireless Dual Band|Amazon Verified Purchase
A massive thank-you to TP-Link for this brilliant card and you guys who have already reviewed this product. Let me explain.

A few weeks ago Virgin media sent me a Netgear Superhub to replace my 10-year-old modem and router. I have a PC running Windows XP, SP3.

I connected the aerial and power lead as instructed, switched on and great my PC recognised the new hub instantly. Choose the Virgin media from the available networks list, put in the passphrase and nothing, it would not connect. Tried over and over again but still it would not connect. I phoned Virgin media who were as helpful as having an ice cream kiosk at the North Pole.

In desperation I turned to the internet (with the help of my sons computer) and search for an answer. This led me to this product and the reviews here on Amazon. I purchased the product installed it which took all of 30 seconds, put the disk in to load the drivers and hey presto instant connection..

Strong signal, works well on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz with no drop out. In short it's a brilliant piece of hardware that actually works. No need to say anymore except if you are looking for a new wireless card or have been experiencing problems with connection then this product could be the answer. Thank-you all again.

Found the packing and deliver as per normal Amerson standards - fine.

The Card is well packed in purchasing box lots of buy me now info.

The box contains the card, CD and quick start guide.

Installation is easy open the PC make a hole in the case and pop the card in to the PCI slot - MAKE SURE that you have a PCI express slot avialable. I found that mine was very close (towards the top of the 'slot stack') which could be close to the audio connecteions and all that othe 110 odd wires that seam to grow out of the back of my PC. So you'll need to think about where the antennas go.

I found that moving them about made a real diiferance to the signal so it worth a play. I'm using the link from the end of the garden (shed) to a just inside the house so it's a good 15m with a few walls in the way and I'm getting 75% signal and full speed connection with no issues.

Set up was easy I used the supplied CD using the supplied app but set it up manually.

So good value for money and it works as advertised. I'd have no problem buying another one when I decide I need another.

3.0 out of 5 stars No low-profile bracket included 28 May 2013
By Mr. R. Brown VINE™ VOICE
Style Name:N600 Wireless Dual Band|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
I snapped this up for a slimline media PC I was putting together and forgot to check whether a low profile bracket was included. Unfortunately one isn't and I can't find any details on the TP Link website about ordering one.

I've tested it out in a different PC and speeds and connection reliability are all good, so it's a decent card, which makes the lack of a low profile bracket all the more annoying for me. It's also worth noting that a lot of motherboards have their mini PCI Express slot next to the main PCI Express slot which can make fitting this card difficult to impossible depending on the size of your graphics card. Out of the three desktop PCs in my house, this would only fit in one. Not a fault with the card, but something to watch out for if you are considering a purchase.

In short I have learnt a valuable lesson here; potential buyers should do their research!
