This is a good training stunt kite for children as the pull even in a strong wind is not excessive. HAving said that the supplied nylon lines are way too weak and mine snapped after a minutes flying in a wind below 12 mph. The kites harness is also nylon thread but thankfully a thicker gauge! Igave the harness a closer examination and noticed some shoddey knots especially as nylon thread is notorious for un-knotting itself.Recommend sealing the knots with waterproof glue.The Rookie kite is good value for money,but remember you need to buy at least 120 metres of 35 lb. breaking strain kite line at around £7-£10.

after some initital difficulties in launching, the kite is very good, fast and nimble. However, after being used 4 times, it has suffered a failure of the main brace strut. Would suggest that the manufacturers should look to reinforce this / use stronger parts.
