5.0 out of 5 stars It's a Sonic The Hedgehog game. Enough said, 23 Jan 2005
I've been a BIG fan of Sonic the Hedgehog since I was about 3 years old, and I still can't find any faults with any of the games in the series! This is definitely Sonics best GBA (GameBoy Advance)game on the market at the moment. The team feature allows you to change the characters actions, giving the game a great amount of variation. The amount of teams that can be created means you'll be finding new moves and cool new tricks for weeks after you started. It's not too easy to complete to quickly, and not too hard to get bored of quickly or so that kids can't complete it. The ending when you have all 7 chaos emeralds, although I won't give anything away, is very interesting if you own the game 'Sonic Battle', which I strongly recomend you do if you want to realy understand whats happening. Overall this is a great game for any game fan, it's fast, action packed and great fun. Just what you come to expect from Sonic Team.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have game for any child., 8 Nov 2004
By A Customer
A must have game if you are buying a Gameboy for a child. My son is 5 and Sonic keeps him amused for hours. It is very easy for a child to play and unlike quite a few other childrens games, there is no reading to be done. I have also bought this game for presents for an 8 year old and a 6 year old and both of them say that this is their favourite game.

4.0 out of 5 stars always better in 2d, 20 Jun 2004
Theres no doubt that platform games work much better in 2d especialy sonic games and sonic advance 3 proves to be the best yet in the gameboy advance series. The main problem with the other sonic advance games was the bottemless pits that plagued the levels and thankfully they are all but gone now and the overall leval design has improved and keeps you intrested all the way to the finish line. The graphics are great, nice bright colours and crisp textures make this the best looking 2d sonic game ever, they totaly out shine the old megadrive versions. The main difference with the new sonic is that sega have followed on from sonic heros and to progress in the levels you need to work as a team and with out working with team members compleating the level is impossible, after being dissapointed with the bosses in sonic heros dr robotnik returns with loads of intresting new machines for killing sonic.the only problem with sonic advance 3 is that the series hasnt really moved on,apart from the teaming up there is no new additions to the levels its the same old swing round pole or grind the rails(not that its bad)new ideas would have made it a fresher experence.
this is a game i would recomend to anyone with a gameboy and advance 3 is the pinnicle of the series.
i only gave this 4 stars because people give away 5 stars too easly and i see 5 stars as a perfect game i would give it 4 and a half if it would let me.
