This is a great little game. By 'little' I mean this is actually a budget title and isn't quite as in-depth as your average RTS. Having said that, I found it very hard to dislike Battle for Troy.
The graphics suit the game just fine (don't get me wrong; they're nothing spectacular) and the characters are great; tiny, muscle-bound warriors who cheer, charge and attack your enemies! It's extremely easy to learn how to play and the difficulty seems just about right - I'd say the game is definitely aimed towards younger players and isn't overly authentic in its historical representation - but what the heck! Actually, I'd say that this game falls somewhere between (old school) Cannon Fodder and most generic RTS games; Age of Empires, for example.
I'd recommend this game on the strength that it's a great budget title; full of laughs and doesn't take itself overly seriously...which is a refreshing change. Given the recent release of the movie Troy this is a good addition.

Shocking game, i bought this game a long time ago and only reviewed it today as i was reviewing loads of games i have. All i remember is i hardly played on it as it was soooooooooooooooo bad. Graphics and game-play were absolutely shocking - DO NOT BUY
