A Bad Twilight Zone Episode That Cuts Off In the Middle 16 Jun. 2008
By Judah - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
If the Twilight Zone had a rejected episodes pile, I could easily see this book fitting inside of it. Main character is an American Male (Rick) of the 1960's, with a wife (Lynn), little girl (Tina), and household boarder (Marcus).

Then comes the random abductions of children, orchestrated by a mysterious alien invasion. Children disappear into faerie rings, sucked away by the mysterious Time-Twisters. Big monsters roam the streets, until they are exposed as remotes made of cheap tin (and I could totally see the tinfoil robot topple over in full Twilight Zone black and white when this happened). Next come devices that cause madness, until finally the reasons behind the mysterious pied-piper like Time Twisters are revealed.

Rick saves the day, but unfortunately, doesn't solve the problem which caused the whole crisis. The future isn't saved, though the reader is left to speculate everything is going to be alright. A hollow ending on top of a superficially moral story left me wondering why I bothered to read the book.

Unless you like reading B movies, don't read this.
