Nicely made and simple to set up, has some nice features like temperature and rainfall history.
Auto connecting 433 MHz wireless link works without interfering with another wireless weather station, but distance between rain gauge collector and display unit seems to be quite limited - have found it tends to lose comms if over 5m away. This isn't a problem for my application so very happy with the purchase.

I have tested the Monsun Radio Controlled Rain-Gauge over several weeks and find that the measure of rain recorded is quite accurate compared with my professional station that sits just six feet from it. It downloads the rain data exactly as stated in the manual.The seven day and monthly records stored are very useful when away from the location.
One thing that does not seem right are the outside temperate readings.It gives grossly high readings compared with my three outside temperature sensors in the same location, and within six feet. Typically it is three (midnight)six degrees Centigrade higher (midday).
In all it is an an excellent rain gauge and excellent value for money.
Highly recommended.

Amazon Verified Purchase
The gauge was easy to set up, in a short time. I have fixed it on top of a pergola to secure from inquisitive Grandchilren.
I still feel uncomfortable about the "amount of rain recorded" as in the last couple of weeks I have got very wet in heavey showers, but no rain has been recorded at that time on the data graph. Maybe the rain seems to me more persistant than it is!

My experience
Neither myself or a high tech neighbour could set the instrument and it was returned.
I can not comment on the quality of the instrument - we think it was a dud one

Monsun Radio Controlled Rain-Gauge
