Hot Toys Terminator Salvation John Connor

This is the first version of John Connor to be released, the second will feature him in his 'Final Battle Version'wooooooo.
This first version out is a real gem, featuring custom threads, insignia and
accessories. The head sculpt is done by KOJUN, someone I've just discovered and currently worship as a true artist, I believe his head sculpts are currently second to none in the 1:6th industry.
He's responsible for some of the best figures in the market and some that are in the pipeline, namely: WOLVERINE!
Ok back to our Chosen One, JC, John 'I'm humanity's last hope' Connor.I think this figure has raised the bar for human 1:6 figs in arena, back in May when they released the first images, I coulda sworn thay got Bale to pose for the product shots, only the hair gave it away.
Kudos to Hot Toys for making every 'man doll'collectors wet dream come true. The skin textures have improved, with sweat pores and blemishes. The likeness is uncanny, much improved from Bale from The Dark Knight and Batman editions.
This collectible figure features a Hot Toys True-type figure body with over 36 points of articulation and stands approximately 30 cm tall. The uniform includes a custom leather jacket, military pants with knee-pads, inner shirt and tactical harness for jaw-dropping stunts only people of the future are capable of.
JC carries a headset,radio with pouch,M4 magazine pouches,pistol magazine pouch and demolition blocks.
For weapons against T-600s he's armed with a M4A1, complete with tactical red dot sight,XM-26 LSS,Line launcher,pistol with holster and a cool tactical fixed blade which he wears on his sleeve.
The only peeve I have with the figure, and this is just a teeny, tiny detail, is that the plastice used for the hands are too stiff compared to many gloved hands Hot Toys has produced before, could be a chemical inaccuracy, or I got the one factory runt. Other than that, this is one great product from an otherwise so-so film.
The packaging also ranks tops in terms of presentation and quality, with a special molded styrofoam box with embossed elements. Just beautiful.
