New head sculpt = mouth does NOT open

The photo above is not the actual product as the head is a different sculpt, the legs are one-piece solid, and the paint job is silver and fairly clean. This is my first Neca terminator, but having seen earlier ones online and in videos, this one from Terminator 1 is different in that the mouth does not open like the T2 ones. Comes with extra hand with pistol grip which seems durable to swap out. The Peg is on the forearm with hole in hand. The rifle is wobbly in the right arm unless the left arm supports it. Wish arms were articulated better to hold rifle closer to bicep as in the PR photo. As it is they cannot. One of the hoses popped off the right shoulder on mine and one of the skull pistons pops off whenever I turn the head which is a ball joint. Not a lot of paint detail. Feels more durable than the old MacFarlane version and seems bigger too. Okay overall if a fan but I wouldn't pay more than retail price for this. Hope this was helpful.

Probably a good idea conceived but badly executed layout.
When attempting to turn the leg parts are emitted from anchorages (but easy enough to be inserted back). Although it is clear that thought big enough freedom of movement of the arms and legs - but realized this is disgusting. Give some interesting position - it is impossible.
Incidentally, the parcel has been packed in a cardboard box of soft, who came all crumpled. Although the toy itself is not spoiled by this, but it could be otherwise.

Neca has finally nailed it spot on with this newest installment of the beloved T-800 Endoskeleton. The face sculpt on this figure alone makes owning it a must for all of you Terminator fans out there. After several just missed the mark attempts the face sculpt is now exactly the way it is supposed to be. I do like and own the previous T2 Endos by Neca. While they are great looking and sculpted very well the face was never done quite right. I dont mind losing the jaw articulation and its worth it to have the much improved face deco. Now I dont open the majority of my figures. I prefer to leave my figures such as this one sealed in its case. My opinion is the design of the packaging along with the figure itself makes it complete and I appreciate the artistic quallity that goes into both the box art and the detail of the figure as a whole. So I honestly cant grade the figure in terms of "out of the package" play, articulation or how stable the parts on the figure are. It does say "ages 18 and up" on the lower left corner of the packaging which, to me says that it is more of an adult collectable then your standard action figure fare. Neca has always been more known for making characters based on adult themes and mature films. Their figures are always more like collectable statues and dont appear to be designed for rough play. It all boils down to us hard core Terminator fans and we have been wanting the quintessential T-800 figure for a long time, I know I have. Well here it is ladies and gentlemen. Dont delay, get yours today!
