... not much!
Clearly the man in the picture is not exerting any power on the handle.
If he did, then the handle would be rather bent.
The handle is made by three sections and because of this it bends quite a lot when used. Anyhow, mine did not break.
If had known it I would have bought a more expensive one made of two sections.

When I received the goods I found that the pole was broken at the end of the handle and even more crucially at the joint of the head. I have applied super glue to both parts and I am hoping that it will be useable. May have to reinforce at the joint with gaffer tape if the weight of the head does not hold solely with the glue. The item had clearly not been checked prior to it being wrapped up.

However the poles do seem to hold when extended out and they are made of aluminium rather than plastic which should make them fairly robust when fully extended. We shall see. Thus the two stars.

Used this item for five minutes. Absolutely useless on first floor windows. Keeps retracting. Leaves nasty marks as bends and is impossible to use beneficially. Sheer and utter waste of money. Now in garage never to be used again and have employed a window cleaner.
