Telecam TCE2000 high performance indoor TV aerial -- recommended as one of the best indoor aerialsThis aerial does work and I can get all Freeview channels with a good firm picture. It took some time to establish where the aeriel functioned best and in my case it was upside down on the outside wall (but inside if get my meaning). You have to track down where your Freeview beam is in the room. I was installing two portable tellies, one a Sony and the other Linsar from John Lewis. Although I could get all Freeview channels if the aerial AND the TV are in optimum positions, if I want to watch TV the other side of room (using an extension aerial) I need the amplifier which you can also purchase for this product.It is listed separately on Amazon an 'amplified aeriel'.I am happy enough with the result not to try another brand. Speedy delivery and modest post and packing.

Very easy to use with perfect digital pictures on my Sony 19" LCD. What more can I say? I assume the bad review was from someone with a poor reception - it does say on the box it should only be used with a freeview box in good reception areas. Great value for money, we had no need for an amplifier as we only live 10 miles from the nearest transmitter at Winter Hill.

I have owned this aerial for almost 3 years now, hooking it up with my USB Freeview stick. I am very impressed with the performance. Perhaps the previous reviewer was just unlucky, though saying that, everytime a plane passes overhead I'll get no signal for a few seconds. I wonder how good it's amplified brother will fare. however, at the moment there's no reason to change it, it does the job etc...so please do not be put off by the previous experience of the other reviewer, for me it works great, I live on the 3rd floor though.
