These TDK Chrome SA cassettes are always recommended and a good standard to measure other cassette tapes against. I have used these on and off for many a year as they are good value for money and I am one of the few who still enjoy analogue recordings. They are better than the Maxell Chrome tapes I bought a number of years ago although I have no complaints with them. Usually it is easier to find the maxell normal tapes which are certainly not as good as the TDK normal ferrite ones. There may well be some higher standard tapes on the market but I have not looked for some time as I am well pleased with the TDK SA90 cassettes. They produce excellent recordings accross all musical frequencies with good tape recorders and are great along-side my Yamaha KX 393 machine(s).

I have used cassette tapes for about 35 years, and have always appreciated their flexibility; light weight, transportable, can be used in the Hi-fi or car and producing a great sound quality. Unfortunately, in recent years the music police have deemed the humble cassette as a product of the past, even suggesting it is an obsolete item. NEVER! Cassette players are still easy to obtain, and with the excellent TDK SA cassettes you have everything; superb sound quality, relative cheapness and all the other advantages listed above. Ignore the trends, and stick to something that does all you could ask of it.

The tapes arrived in good time and in good order. These tapes are great for use with analogue portable recording studios and TDK are a well respected quality make.
