Do yourself a favour and buy this. I've had perfectly cooked meat every time since buying this. It takes the guestimation over the sunder roast timings.

I'm not sure how well this thermometer works. It seems to move up as I put it in something hot, but it kind of slowly finds it's stop. I cooked my Thanksgiving turkey with this and it said the thigh temperature was what a finished turkey should have (180*F) an hour before it was done cooking. When I finished cooking the bird still looked a TOUCH pink, and was fairly moist so I don't think I overcooked it.
Aside from that it fell on the floor and the glass shattered. So... I'd get a digital thermometer that you can use for meat, bread, or whatever else if you can. Don't buy this one.

I would reccomed this product to anybody who wants to eliminate the problems of undercooked meat. It is a superb kitchen aid at a good price.
