I have a Google Nexus - and love it - but this was for my daughter and a Nexus was a bit too much. I researched and researched and just before I bought something this popped up. Best screen resolution I had seen - dual core cpu and quad core gpu. Seller had excellent feed
back too. Well arrived really quickly and unlike much of the reviews I see on Chinese tablets this only required a change of time-zone. No Chinese Apps or Bloatware. Screen protector installed - perfectly - and a really nice finish with good panel gaps and a tidy looking tablet.

Connected to WiFi in seconds - set up daughters account - installed Temple Run 2 and away it went. SMOOTH as butter - very much like the installed Jellybean. Okay - so not an IPS screen but surprisingly good - good enough for reading books and YouTube looks fantastic. The touch sensitivity is excellent - really can't fault it. Typing is a pleasure and Temple Run responds to all the gestures. Really decent sound from the speaker too.

Not sure there will be much it can't do. Worst thing was the case I bought to go with it - not that bad and it is a perfect fit but awful finish (I am fussy) - wish it wasn't the only one that fitted it.

Way better than I thought I could get for a tablet at this money. A friend got one a month ago for about £10 less but a very inferior spec and full of Chinese apps. If this was branded I wouldn't have thought twice about it. It is easily worth the money and if anything does go wrong I am confident that Tabtronics will help rectify any issues. Now - to find better case to do it justice...

I am a Windows PC literate silver surfer with no experience of the Android operating system. I've been thinking about getting an ereader to take on holiday and did a fair bit of research. I came close to buying a Kindle and then considered a Nexus 7 - then I came across this little gem on Amazon which is amazing value for money and does so much more than an ereader.

I purchased direct from Tabtronics, whose service has been outstanding. Free next working day delivery and a time slot of 10.33 - 11.33 advised - it was delivered at 10.33 on the dot. I contacted Tabtronics by email on a couple of occasions for technical support and received very quick responses, including a turnaround of 11 minutes on a Sunday!

The tablet looks and feels like a quality piece of kit, having a rubberised back which makes it easy to hold.

Full battery charge via AC adaptor is around 3 - 4 hours from flat. Have not been able to charge via USB, which transfers data without any problem. I have allowed battery to drain to automatic shutdown a few times and fully recharged to try to prolong life. A 2 hour streamed movie used 38% of battery life - it really does have a fully charged life of up to 5 hours.

Boots up in seconds and connects to broadband almost instantly. It picks up 8 WIFI signals at home, whereas my new SMART WIFI TV only picks up 2 and takes much longer to connect. Range is around 30 metres before signal drops out. Download speed is 3700mbs, only 500mbs less than my PC which is connected by Ethernet cable and I've had no buffering. Downloading apps takes seconds; even downloading offline Google maps is pretty quick.

Must go along with other reviews... a great tablet for the price. My first tablet, although Iv played with the big brands and happy with this purchase. For the price would give it 5* but had couple of weak points. Could do with a little more on max brightness of screen and audio. Also, as reviewed elsewhere, charger plug does not insert fully into tablet so therefor a little vulnerable to damage.

I recently bought the Quantum 7 for my daughter for Christmas & was so pleased with it. I decided to buy another one and this time went for the newly released Quantum 7+. I have to say I'm really impressed with the quality of the graphics. Also the touch screen appears to be more sensitive so is really easy to use. All in all very impressed. Well worth the money.

Excellent design, good "feel" when using in hand, great clear screen and good colour. Had slight problem using sd card at start, the user leaflet very poor unless you have had one of these before! However, got out booklet from old tablet and found my answers. Holds huge amount of music on card, plus another card with jpegs and video film. Wish someone sold the small plastic cases for sd cards though. I use wifi with no problems. Battery is ok but not longest charge, but maybe because I missed note saying give it six hour charge first two times.
Would recommend this even at throwaway price.

Tablet is a good build quality and a decent weight, size isn't as big as iPad or Nexus 7 however that doesn't bother me. Runs very smoothly and input is instant, screen clarity isn't as good as my HTC One X smartphone however I didn't expect it to be as that cost 5x as much as this. Simple to set up in terms of wifi and Google accounts etc.
All in all for the price you really can't go wrong, £80 is a bargain!
