Not that exciting 8 Oct. 2011

Bought this for my 13 year old granddaughter. She had seen it advertised on TV and really expected alot from it. Didn't do much more than a regular microphone. Too expensive for what it does.

Portable Lab for a Sicky Rhyme - ReReReRemix 10 Feb. 2012

Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
Rebecca Black's song Friday was just begging to get remixed. But how?? Enter the T-Pain Mic. This mic is the best kept secret for turning Gold into Platinum. So, eager rhyme slayer, pick your beat and lay down your mad joints via the USB port. EXCUSE ME. Mad joint. Singular. Although, the T-Pain mic does apologize, it is true that you can only download a single sicky rhyme at a time. But, once said rhyme is laid, the spitter of hot fire may at that time re-up. Then you may upload waves upon waves of WAVs into iTunes. That's right, iTunes supports WAV files. Don't fret WinAMP evangalists! It works for your application too.

Spit it like the 5 hottest rappers of all time. Wait, you don't know Dylan? It must be because you host game shows! Well, this T-Pain mic can transform any Super Bowl party into an impromptu "The Price Is Right" extravaganza. But don't call it "The Price Is Right," instead, call it "TPIR" because nobody is watching your game show and you might as well be Carson Daly. He definitely "bombed atomically."
Super Fun toy 11 Dec. 2014

I ordered this microphone for the autotune capability. It comes with batteries already installed and ready to use. When you press the "on/off " button, at the top of the microphone there is a red light the size of a quarter that lights up.. Then, you must press the square button in front of the microphone while speaking directly on the red light at the top of the microphone so your voice becomes autotuned. (It took me a little time to figure this out.) When my teenagers don't do their chores, I use this to rap to them instead of scolding and they just die laughing ( i can't rap). Beware: this is not for professional use, but a great toy for fun.

The microphone was not at all easy to figure out. It did not work properly and caused a lot of disappointments on Christmas day. We basically gave up on it. :(

I ordered this for my nephew for Christmas (which was yesterday). The order process went well, I received the package within a week which was great. When I got the item I noticed the box was resealed like it was previously opened, maybe by another buyer, resent and resold. Ok, I said that happens sometimes we'll see how it goes. I also noticed that when you press one of the buttons you hear a sample of the music, ok fine. My nephew opened it yesterday, Christmas day, and the only thing that worked for about 3 mins was the sample of T-Pain's voice. We had to replace with new batteries because those batteries were dead after the 3 mins. With new batteries in now it still didn't work to the full extent. The mic says it's supposed to play a few music sample beats, never worked, it also has a button to record your voice and a playback button to hear what you just recorded, both never worked!! Really sucks, because I was looking forward to him enjoying this. I plan to return this and get a completely different microphone.
